PalestiniansReader comment on item: Barack Obama and Islam: An Ongoing Saga Submitted by Don (Peru), Sep 28, 2009 at 07:37 "Stop the...controls over Palestinians." I suggest you Google Netanyahu's speech to the United Nations given just a few days ago. He makes an excellent case to the world and the UN in particular the situation Israel finds itself in and the realities on the ground. Googlee it. Read it. He did NOT say - but I will - that it is the Palestinians literally educating/indoctrinating their children in the classrooms to an ideology of hate, death, martyrdom, and the hero-worship of terrorists. They learn from the youngest age this hate, even from their teachers. If they don't get it at home (though most do), they do get it in school. While Israeli children are learning to be productive members of society, learning sciences, arts, mathematics, inquiry-based learning with the freedom to question their government and their teachers and even their religion, and becoming adults functioning in a country that gives so much in the way of the scieences and research and teechnology to the world, the Palestinians are learning they cannot question the hate that is shoved down their throat. They cannot inquire or questiion. Note: Opinions expressed in comments are those of the authors alone and not necessarily those of Daniel Pipes. Original writing only, please.
