Mr. Tovey,
Thanks for giving a detailed answer and explaining everything from a Christian view point. Now I would like to continue the same on Islamic viewpoint.

See the opposition of Islam on "Trinity" is very simple. You yourselves have mentioned it in your previous post that the Christians consider GOD to be one and Almighty in nature . Islam supports this view. What Islam refuses to accept is that why the Almighty GOD , who can do anything if he wish to , will need a son (that too without having a formal wife) and a holy spirit to save mankind , his greatest and most beloved creation. If he really wanted to save mankind from the sin of Adam and Eve he could have forgiven Adam and Eve there itself for their crimes since both of them were repentant to GOD after eating the forbidden fruit.

Kindly answer why did Almighty GOD did not forgive Adam and Eve straightway after they showed repentance to GOD.
As par as Hebrew Bible's scriptures are concerned where they refer to divine actions as "We" or "Us" it can not be confirmed that these references mean "Father , son and holy spirit". It could mean "GOD and his numerous angels" if laterally interpreted in this way. It could also be an inaccurate translation of the original Hebrew Scripture since what you have mentioned is probably English King James version of Hebrew Holy Bible( I am just taking a guess) which off course could be an error by the translators when they were translating from the original Hebrew Scriptures.

Kindly tell whether I am incorrect in my above comment or not.

When the discussion moves to "Original Sin" , see the Islamic opposition to "Original Sin" is also very simple , how can the just , merciful Almighty GOD hold the children of Adam and Eve (i.e. rest of the mankind) sinful for the actions of their parents ? Is that justice form GOD ? And as par as your contention on Sin is concerned that it happens to a man or woman who is in rebellion to GOD ,
Kindly tell me then that has there been any person in the last 2050 years who has not performed a single sin even after accepting Jesus Christ as his personal saviour.

You who consider himself as someone who has accepted Jesus as his personal saviour , can you kindly say that you have never done any sin since you accepted Jesus as your personal saviour ?
So if someone continues to sin even after accepting Jesus then what his the point of Jesus saving humanity from sin through his blood on cross ?

Islam's point on the sin is very clear , a man or woman is born as a pure and innocent human being devoid of any sin who is completely in servitude of the Almighty GOD, This condition of any human baby (boy or girl) is called as "Muslim" according to Islamic tradition.
Now when a man or woman grows up he comes to his own devices since GOD has given Mankind the gift of free will. Now his independent actions throughout his life will determine for him or her whether he or she is in rebellion with GOD or not.

Islam is very specific on the part of repentance that any human being if he or she thinks he or she has done any sin should straightway repent to Almighty GOD for forgiving and if his or her repentance is genuine then the Almighty GOD will forgive him straightaway.

Kindly tell me whether you understand this above Islamic position on Sin or not.

On the issue of whether Islam tries to replace Christianity or not , I would say that look Prophet Mohammad himself met Jesus Christ in person in heaven. (For more reference kindly see the Holy Quran chapter Al-Nazm).
Now why did Jesus not complain to him about Prophet's teachings at that time ?
See why did Jesus not convert Prophet Mohammad to Jesus's way when he had the opportunity ?
I believe it means that Jesus accepted the teachings of Prophet Mohammd as TRUE and also accepted Prophet Mohammad as the last true rightful messenger of GOD to humanity. The prophet also met Moses and Abraham as well as Adam in the same journey

Kindly answer this question that when Jesus,Moses,Abraham himself did approve Prophet Mohammad's teachings then why the Jews and Christians are opposed to the Prophethood of Mohammad ?

On the topic of Jesusly influence on past American policy actions see I raised that issue as a response to one of your comments in one of your previous posts that Prophet Mohammad's teachings has a lot to do with the current problems engulfing the so-called "Islamic" countries. My viewpoint is that if the whole western civilization is most influenced by Jesus's teachings then according to your analogy Jesus should also be held responsible for the crimes or sins of some of the Western actions which includes the Holocaust,the Witch hunting trials of the middle ages, the inquisition,the two world wars as well as the current abuses of human rights like Gaza killings and Guantanamo detainee abuses performed by US and Israel in the broader middle east , supported by the evangelicals like you.

I also must say that it was remarkable to see someone like you who claims that Jesus brought peace for the mankind supporting past US sins like Hiroshima or Nagasaki which were probably strategically unnecessary according to modern historians.
