Reader comment on item: The Bible's Role in American Support for Israel
in response to reader comment: The New is in the Old Concealed, the Old is in the New Revealed

I agree with much of what you say. To answer questions at end of your post:
God most certainly has given special favor according to birthright. They were to keep "the oracles of God" His words. They were promised a land forever. God also promised to give them a new heart, so they would walk in his statutes and keep his commandments (Ezekiel). He said they "all shall be saved" (ROmans). It is very involved study and my brief comments will not do it justice. In short, Israel is blinded now, as prophecied in the OT, so the light would come to the Gentiles. When the times of the gentiles shall be fulfilled (Isaiah and Daniel), at the rapture, the tribulation begins and Gods attention turns back to the Jews. The two prophest (Elijah and Moses) are raised up, the 144,000 (Revelation) start preaching and Israel knows the wedding has begun and they need to get themselves ready to make into the marriage supper of the lamb at the beginning of the millenium. The Holy Spirit is removed at the rapture, and so a new dispensation begins. The end of the age of grace and of the Spirit. All who are saved are saved by grace through faith in the work of Christ. However, it appears God intervenes in some miraculous ways that we have not seen in this present age. A combination of things old and new. Faith and keeping commandments, it states in Revelation. Zechariah 14 shows us that nations (Israel and gentile) will come up year to year to worship king jesus.

There also appears to sacrifices, memorial sacrifices only, because Jesus is the only sacrifice needed. The kingdom of heaven Jesus preaches of is the millenial kingdom, the kingdom the Jews were looking for, where Messiah reigns on earth. The Kingdom of Heaven was postponed because of Israels unbelief, God of course knew in his foreknowledge of this. The Old Testament speaks more Christs second coming than of his first. The Kingdom of Heaven is called a "mystery" by Jesus.

At this point, nothing is secret, the mysteries have been revealed. All we must do is search the completed written revelation, Gods words to unearth the treasures of understanding. At some point "all Israel shall be saved". If you search Ezekiel, Daniel, Romans, Revelation and Matthew. All that I have said can be confirmed. At a later date, I may have time to post all the verses. Be careful of Matthew, by and large the church applies the Kingdom of Heaven parables to the church age, incorrectly. Lastly, the "everlasting gospel" (Revelation) during the tribulation. This is Pauls gospel PLUS, the end of the world as we know it is near and Christ is coming.
