Who's Minding The Store?Reader comment on item: George Soros Teaches the FBI Tolerance Submitted by Yonason (United States), Jul 22, 2004 at 09:08 B"HWho's in charge of setting FBI policy? How could such an obvious attempt to undermine, ...no, disembowel the agency even make it in the door? Who is this "...special agent in charge of FBI's Washington Field Office...," and is he acting on his own initiative, or was he compelled by his superiors? Who are his superiors, and how are they involved? How does his behavior impact overall FBI policy? How widespread is this, how long has it been going on, and how likely is it to spread through the agency? This article gives us lots of very useful information about our fifth column enemies external to the FBI, who they are, and the nature of their attempts at subversion, but the picture is incomplete. I would like to know more about how vulnerable our domestic intelligence agency is, and why. Where are the weak links? How did they get there? How much influence do they have? How can they be removed? How do we immunize the FBI, and indeed any other vital organization, against ideological attack? I don't know if Dr. Pipes has that information, but I can't see that the picture is complete without it. I would greatly appreciate seeing an in depth analysis if that side of the problem.
