Am I surprised ? Not at all !

Reader comment on item: New Frontiers in Islamism

Submitted by Anne-Marie Delcambre (France), Aug 13, 2009 at 04:51

The Islamist group says the gold and silver teeth are used for fashion and beauty, which is against strict interpretations of Islam. The wig also is forbidden. Muhammad said the wig is used for fashion and beauty. This interpretation of Islamic law has shocked many Somalis, "who are traditionally "moderate Muslims" ?

I am sorry but this interpretation of Islamic law is shocking but...legitimate. The Sunna of the Prophet i.e his sayings and doings - is...curious, shocking and this Islamist group .only .follows the Sunna of Mohammed !!!!
