Reader comment on item: Trouble in Londonistan
in response to reader comment: "Nowhere In The Bible Jesus Says He Is A Muslim"

Submitted by AnneM (United States), Aug 12, 2009 at 07:55

In response to a few questions asked by Shaan in his comment, a few questions will be answered. The reason why some books about Jesus were not accepted in the NT cannon is because they were viewed as NOT being inspired by the Holy Spirit and thus rejected. They became known as the gnostic gospels. Also the Gospel of John does say that Jesus said that "he and the father are one", proof that Jesus is BOTH the "Son of God" as well the "Son of Man". Not everything about Jesus needs to be revealed, including those quiet 18 years. Those books were neither lost or stolen, just not inspired by the Holy Spirit. That is why they were REJECTED.
