Further elaboration, pleaseReader comment on item: U.S. to Israel: You Decide Nukes in Iran, We Decide Bedrooms in Jerusalem Submitted by Sheryl Rosenberg (United States), Jul 8, 2009 at 11:28 Would Daniel please clarify his comment: "Displeased as I am over the "settlement" issue, I prefer this situation to the reverse: Israeliis free to build bedrooms but not to deal with Iran. (July 7, 2009)" I do appreciate that he agees the US has no right to determine what Israel does yet, why does he not wish Israel to full choice in all areas? Is he against settlements on land that is historically Jewish? And, why not bomb Iran since diplomacy and sanctions will not work? Reasoned disagreement is welcome but not comments that are scurrilous, off-topic, commercial, disparaging religions, or otherwise inappropriate. Daniel Pipes replies: I wish the US were not dictating either issue but if it must dictate, better the spare bedrooms than the nuclear issue. Comment on this item
