Yes, the humanistic values of christianity had their roots with the Jews. However, those values were confined only to the Jewish tradition until the christian movement provided the 'way' to include non Jews. Without the Jews, we would have no Christ. All who love Christ, must love the Jewish faith and those who practice it. Shalom.
