Actually, Janusz, I'm sure Stalin occupied half of Poland (helping ignite WWII) out of a sincere, pious desire to spread the blessings of the Constantinopolitan form of Christianity to the benighted Romanists of Poland; and attacked Finland to make the Lutheran Finns as Orthodox as the Karelians. I'm sure Kim Il-sung started the Korean War to spread pre-war Pyongyang-style Presbyterian Christianity to the benighted, then mostly-Buddhist South Koreans. And certainly Mao Zedong launched a bloody civil war in China to spread the gentle Mahayana Buddhism of his mother. Also, I'm sure that the bloody purges of the Cientificos in Mexico, the Communists in many countries, the Mobutuists in Zaire/Congo, and so many other victims of our singularly bloody-minded 20th century--a number far exceeding the number of people who suffered for the wrong kind of Christianity or none at all in the 1500 years between the conversion of Constantine and Ruggles v. New York (1811)--are all proof of how pacifistic scientific secularism is!
