Reader comment on item: [Brandon Mayfield Case:] "If You Are Muslim, You Are Suspect"

Anyone who turns apostate, i.e. abandons Christianity to adopt a faith which has such a bloody history is going to be suspect in this country, freedom of thought and religion not withstanding. It doesn't even seem sincere, since he grew up with a western education. The history of Islam is not good and scholars are finding lots of holes in it and that's why it is forbidden to criticise the cult. I do not feel sorry for Mr. Mayfield. .
