Many evangelicals who call themselves "Christians" identify themselves with conservatives and Republicans. How can true Christians be conservatives or liberals?

You are right. While on earth, Jesus was a middle-easteren Jew. An Aryan Jesus or an African Jesus is as false as the prophethood of Muhammed.
