Moral bankruptcy of MSM
Reader comment on item: America's Desultory Religious Reporting
in response to reader comment: Journalists scared of Islamists

Gururaj says: "What I have written here wholly holds good for India. From the comments of US citizens, it seems equally applicable to the US also."

No, I think some fear is there but more than that the journalists in US are totally brainwashed and the current climate of political correctness does not allow them to criticise Islam and Muslim's practices throughout the west, including USA. Islamics are getting their way, imposing their sharia beliefs on others. Some examples:

1: Somali Muslim taxi drivers in Minneapolis refuse to give ride to travellers carrying alcohol and blind people with eye dogs. This practice has been seen in some big cities also. This is a violation of US anti-discrimantion laws but the public officials have no guts to impose penalties on these taxi drivers. I don't know if the situatin in Minneapolis is still the same as it was two or three years back or the Muslim drivers have started respecting our laws, giving ride to all whether theyr are with alcohol or with dogs..

2: Universities installing foot baths for Muslim students for their prayers. Some times Muslims are given a separate prayer roonm since they won't share prayer roonm with others of different faith.

3: Muslim workers in supermarkets refusing to handle anything containing pork, thus creating problems for other employees and the employers.

Any one writing about this behavior of Muslims is branded as Islamophobe, xenophob and racist. One should ask what "race " is Islam since Muslims are found in every race on earth!!!

Howevr, the journalists here, in all big liberal newspapers such as New York Times, LA Times, Chicago Tribune, do not find it necessary to write about these types of Muslim demands. The politically correct editors nix such stories. It is anyone's guess whether these journalists have become morallly bankrupt like the journalits in India or they are clueless, brainless or brain dead or simply afraid to write about Muslim behaviour in the West
