Consider me behind the game plan here...

Reader comment on item: Fox Broadcasting Semi-Caves to CAIR

I just recently became turned onto the 24 phenom smack dab in the middle of the current 2009 season. I felt I couldn't just come in and pick this up in the middle and figured it was best time to sit down, grab the entire series on DVD and start fresh with S1-E1 and move my way forward.

I caught the phone number released as described above in this blog and found it quite unusual for any production to use a exchange other than 555... So I had to do some research, and viola... here I am.

I have to say, when this particular season (Season 4) got started, I was quite impressed and found it really refreshing not to have everything whitewashed, but I have to agree with the author here when he stated - "How sad that a season that began so promisingly ended such a dud. That Hollywood finds it so hard to take notice if the radical Islamic threat symbolizes the blasé liberal attitude that constitutes the greatest obstacle to dealing with that threat."

All too often, we find ourselves blinded by political correctness in a world that is getting more dangerous by the minute. I'm not sure if I'm as "into" the program as I was when I first started, and found the fact that they caved to politic's discouraging. Recent stories that I read about their "Global Warming" post episode comments now as well tell me that more and more, this show (and Fox) are failing to just be true and are now starting to try to bring the political beliefs of Hollywood into the program...

Like I say to the Dixie Chicks, Bruce Springsteen and others... Shut up and Sing... I say to Hollywood, shut up and write, shut up and act, and stop trying to tell me how I need to think or what I need to believe in. Face up to reality and grow a set will you?
