It is the Utopian desire to make all things equal- Anti WarReader comment on item: Arabs, Israelis, and Underdogs Submitted by sara (United States), Apr 1, 2009 at 21:37 Closer to home than rooting for the underdog is that it is a passionately hoped for leftist utopian wish, that everyone will just get along and war will be no more. Peace will prevail upon humankind. Leftist/Marxist/Socialists will tend to want the underdog to be equal to everyone else, and just as importantly, they want the superior power (whomever is perceived to be stronger militarily) to be lowered to their level, taken down a peg. No one should fight about land, religion, money, energy, anything at all, we must all be equal, all have the same thing, all walk the same walk etc. be global citizens. Then what would we have to go to war about? That is the core essence of liberal thought and is the basis for the left's love affair with Islamist anti-women, anti-gay, anti-human rights, or the communists or any other ists. They want to embrace all in the hope that then everyone will be love and peace. (see youtube Evan Sayet for a clear explanation of this theory). Following this reasoning, if the survey had been taken with both countries having the same size, what would have been the results....?
