Mos Def's comments are inane.Reader comment on item: The New Anti-Semitism Submitted by Aaron (United States), Mar 29, 2009 at 17:13 Mos Def's comment about Jewish students strikes me as self-evidently absurd: of course Jewish students who assaulted somebody who left a threatening symbol would get into trouble. Why the heck does he think otherwise? Is he daft, or is it a sign of anti-Jewish paranoia? I find his lyrics quoted above another entertaining example of how certain self-declared "activists" condemn ostensible outside forces for foisting a foul culture onto black American society, while they profit from, participate in and generate that culture themselves. It's one of the sharpest examples of self-serving deception in modern America. Note: Opinions expressed in comments are those of the authors alone and not necessarily those of Daniel Pipes. Reasoned disagreement is welcome but not comments that are scurrilous, off-topic, commercial, disparaging religions, or otherwise inappropriate.
