Veils a Concern

Reader comment on item: Saudi Strong-arm Tactics in Virginia

Submitted by Zentrist (United States), Mar 25, 2009 at 00:34

The veils worn in public by the women--the veils that spookily reveal only the eyes--these women are potential security threats in our time. Tony Blair has pointed this out. I agree with him. As for the increasing, daily increasing numbers of women choosing to wear less concealing veils, no particular problems there. It is the veils that mask a person's identity--these veils strike me as problematic whether in an airport, a store, a bank or wherever.
