Israeli lobbyReader comment on item: Charles Freeman and Me Submitted by michael groom (United States), Mar 23, 2009 at 15:56 When Mr. Freeman objected to Israel's military incursion into Palestinian held territories, the Israeli lobby, and it's supporters, attack him and oppose his nomination. Why is it that whenever an American attacks a particular policy of Israel's (and I recognize that there is a diverse public discourse in Israel and peace parties) they are accused of being anti-Semitic? Note: Opinions expressed in comments are those of the authors alone and not necessarily those of Daniel Pipes. Original writing only, please. Comments are screened and in some cases edited before posting. Reasoned disagreement is welcome but not comments that are scurrilous, off-topic, commercial, disparaging religions, or otherwise inappropriate. For complete regulations, see the "Guidelines for Reader Comments". Daniel Pipes replies: You seem to have as active an imagination as Freeman himself. Nowhere in this weblog entry did I write anything about antisemitism. Read it over again for yourself to verify that. Comment on this item
