Reader comment on item: Islam in American Textbooks
in response to reader comment: Is there a book about violent history of islam ??

Submitted by M.A. (United States), Mar 19, 2009 at 18:01

Sam: One of the best books I have read on violent islamic history is "ISLAMIC JIHAD" by M.A. Khan of islam-watch.org. I bought an e-book for only $6 but it is also available on amazon.com. The other recent book is Legacy of Jihad by Dr. Andew Bostom available on Amazon.com. For a quick check go on hisyoryofjihad.com.
The reason it is not widespread knowledge is the all out effort of islamists PR organizations like CAIR (flushed with oil money) to keep it away from public eye and the help offered by the extreme left liberals who are in bed with them.
