Seeing 'God' (the ground of being) is everything - and we do not know all that exists in time and space then , and if you are contending that 'God', 'Allah', 'Brahma' etc are interchangeable terms then certainly that is a truism.

But we can also say the power of your imagination is beyond our expectations. Islam is not knowledge of the Source. It is just a set of beliefs that people like yourself - for whatever reason - are happy to accept and think is the ultimate truth.

Yes - there is a universal truth. It's called Life, Sat Nam, the Tao , Chi etc etc When you have realised the Universal Truth - which is inside of you - then let us know. You won't be carrying on with the claptrap you now espouse. Otherwise, you're just spouting what you think it is that you know which can only ever be just your own beliefs - i.e. the world through Arabian/Muslim colured glasses.

If that were true - it would be because some unenlightened beings, not knowing any better, feel compelled to spread their ignorance to others . Others, similarly deluded - feel a certain safety in numbers an. If so many are doing this, it must be right eh?

Some, in positions of power , are taking advantage of the ignorance and gullibility of other human beings, in order to increase their power and influence. It has nothing to do with enlightenment or spreading the awareness of truth.

How can Truth be harmed?

IMHO, Sufism is the closest thing Islam has that approaches anything respectable. It emphasises direct experience of the the non-ego and leaving 'beliefs' behind. The rest of Islam is mostly silly superstition.

That is perfectly understandable and based on the fact that there is very little positive to say.

Not 'so-called' - it is ACTUALLY barbaric.

Taking people hostage an beheading or otherwise murdering local officals who don't buckle to their demands is the ture 'strength' of the Taliban. That you don't like facts being displayed by the media is more an indication of your unwillingness to accept reality.

And what about literate, western trained Muslim doctors - like the ones who attempted to demolish Glasgow Airport. Were they pounded with bombs in London?

It's not ironic that it is not practised in the West. It is not practised in the West because the West has evolved less primitive and archane legal systens - that are not based on the tenets of a very questionable belief system.

But what if the idea of 72 virgins and an inexhaustible supply of wine and green cushions doesn't turn me on?

Oh no, not Big Scary Allah again! What happened to the God of love and peace and the 'Kingdom of Heaven' within?

Twins, triplets , octuplets etc result from multiple sperm fertilising multiple eggs.

But that sperm wasn't 'you'.

That's if you think your consciousness just hangs around a decaying piece of meat.

You are not a sperm - you're a consciousness in a body. You seem to have a poor understanding of biology - the 'best' sperm was not necessarily the one that fertilised the ovum. It was just the one that got there first. And who is to say which one was 'best'?

But Mansoor - a few sentences ago you just wrote "we feel ourselves to be so unimportant. We are important that is why we were given life."

So which is it?

and do you think in the certain event that there IS life elsewhere in the universe - that conscious beings from elsewhere would find your 7th century Arabian cosmology anything other than a quaint and curious aberration ?

There have been *saints in many traditions SINCE the beginning of Islam. Let's take Guru Nanak for example - have you taken notice of the lives of these people? Did he say anything at all about Mohammed or that Islam was the latest and greatest religion and that people should flock to mosques? No!

Now - why was that?

Garbage. people are just expressing their God-given intelligence by stating the obvious about your belief system. Seeing that God can do anything as you say , perhaps God is using other people to state the obvious to those who have been led astray by Islam.

You just cannot handle well warranted criticism.
