Hello Daniel,

Regarding the above article, I have one comment:

I do not understand why you use the PA propaganda term: occupied West Bank?? This piece of property is from time immemorial: Judea & Samaria. Please check the Bible. This piece of land was finally freed on June 1967 from occupation by the Hashamite Kingdom of Jordan who occupied this area from 1948. Before that it was under British occupation and before that under Ottoman occupation ect ect.

Should Israel ever decide, for the sake of real genuine peace with its neighbors, to part from some of these territories, under protest, then it is the prerogative of its people to do so freely and willingly after the PA stops all terrorist activities against the State of Israel and its people and change their attitude from hatred to living in peace side by side.

Sincerely Raam

Daniel Pipes replies:

I use the term West Bank because, as the term (in Arabic: الغربية‎‎الضفة , ad-Diffa'l-Gharbiya) that its first occupier, the Transjordanian regime, gave the region at the time of its annexation in 1950, it is historic and as neutral as one can hope for.
