You can't teach about God

We are not permitted to teach Judaism or Christianity in the public schools. Why are we allowed to teach about Islam. This is not material for elementary school children. A course in comparitve religion is a high school or college level course. Global perspective baloney. I teach in a public school and have done for 30 plus years. Most kids that I have come across can't find their state on a map of the USA. US history is basically no longer taught. We teach Social Studies. Lets teach our children about what a great country we live in before we expose them to the wonderful world of Islam.
