Pity Servanne that your France did not think of that when they conquered Algeria and other parts of the Muslim world in Africa. Does your history teach you that your country occupied Algeria for 200 years and tried to make it an extension of France? The British were not so hypocritical when they occupied India; they ruled through a Governor General just as they did in Hong Kong. But France tried to make Algeria an extension of France and make the Algerian people French. It didn't work and they were finally kicked out and the rest is history.
But the good thing is France learned from that, and since then French society has gone through a transformation extolling the virtues of egalite, liberte, and fraternite. The only thing left for them to do is purge the society of bigots who try to raise their head to negate these virtues on any pretext. This purge should be done in an intellectual rather than a physical way, by disemminating information and exposing these people. Vive la France!
