Mr. Daniel Pipes and others like Professor Barkun are quick to give the impression that so-called "conspiracy theories" are always false. These guys don't ever present any evidence or give any logical rationale as to why any certain conspiracy theory is false. They only give their opinions. I would challenge Mr. Pipes or Professor Barkun to an open forum where we could debate topics such as; the JFK Assassination, the war on terror hoax, and the push for a one world government.
Heck, if they like we may even throw in the implantable microchip theory (which is no longer a theory). I recall about 15 years ago talking to people about the implantable microchip. People would laugh and call me crazy because such a thing didn't exist. Naturally, I had no choice but to take the abuse. However, today, people like Daniel Pipes and Professor Barkun call me a conspiracy theorist because the chip is here for our own good. It is not meant to be used as a tracking device to enslave people.
The first director of the F.B.I., J. Edgar Hoover, was involved in many conspiracies himself. This is what he had to say about why the average American does not accept a possible conspiracy against him.
""The individual is handicapped by coming face to face
with a conspiracy so monstrous he cannot believe it exists."
— -- J. Edgar Hoover
Is it possible; that such persons of the ilk Pipes and Berkun are handicapped because somewhere along the lines they may have stumbled onto something? Or are they clearly aware, that their only goal is to dissuade people from trying to uncover the truth? Are we to accept Pipes claim over J. Edgar Hoover's?
