American Purposes in Iraq.

Dr. Pipes, As usual your hard common sense approach to America's problems find me in complete agreement. I don't understand why leadership in Washington is so completely unaware of this depth of your, and others, reasoning.

Am reading Huntington's, "The Clash of Civilizations" and he, too, seems to understand where America is headed. It leaves me with a deep feeling of melancholy.

Thank you for loving America the way so many of us, who are so frustrated, do.
