Can the Muslims be Friends with the Jews and Christians?

Mohammed says in his Qur'an, Sura, Section 8, Verse 54-55 --

"O ye who believe! Take not the Jews and the Christians for your friends and protectors; They are but friends and protectors to each other. And he amongst you that turns to them (For friendship) is of them. Verily GOD guideth not a people unjust."

How do you propose to convince Muslims that Mohammed was wrong and that we all can be friends?

Mohammed states we who are not Muslims are infidels and should be killed. How do you convince 100% of the Muslims that we are friends and let us all live in peace"
