Dear Dr Daniel Pipes,
I read with interest the update on Turkey switching sides. It would seem that Turkey has never truly been on any side other than its own strategic interests, not unlike the agreement Muhammad made with the Banu Quaraish Jewish tribe. History has taught us what value are allies whom are part of Islamic Umma and their true intentions.
The ability of Turkey to do so is alarming to say the least and impacts seriously on American strategic interests in the region and access to American Military interests by U.S. USA needs to cease immediately any foreign aid to the Turkey Government, and assess the dangerous power bloc that it now represents and act accordingly. USA needs to implement changes to their military access routes .
It is my fervent hope that this strategic alliance between Iran and Syria and Turkey will wake the Pentagon Chiefs of Staff to the serious implications of this power bloc on American and its allies security concerns, particularly should Turkey gain access to secret military issues through NATO and gain entrance into European Community, which will unleash dangerous numbers of potential islamist fifth columnists into Europe, millions potentially more than are there currently.
As always, my faith is in you, to wake the world up to the dangerous situation facing Democracies of the world now.
Sincerely
Tess McNamara
