Really has it ever occured to anybodty the iraq war is far from over americans think it has won the war. I guess stopping the attacks until the americans leave and coming back with hells fury is beyond the insurgents . As far as afghanistan goes history has shown that no one will ever enforce a gov. on them they have shamed the soviet union, the british and any other country stupid to invade them since the beggining of time. These are not the iraqi's there isnt two religious sects battling for power so there is no possibility of appeasing half the country while pissing off the other half they are prettty much all battle hardened sunnis who will rather die than have the west impose their rule on them just wait and see.
