Question re Arafat

Dear Dan,

Now that Yassin and Rantisi have been eliminated, I would appreciate your views whether strategically Israel should do the same with Arafat. He is, of course a "sitting target" who could easily be destroyed.

I don't remember your addressing this question before.

I do not think that eliminating Arafat will do much to improve things. That will require a thorough-going change of heart among the Palestinian population.
