Everyone should read the Koran to gain knowledge about what it says. Most Muslims read it in translation, so no problem if we do, too. A lot of Muslims do not know what it says. While you are doing it, read the Hadiths, too. Some of the stuff is hair-raising. What's really bad is that they act on what it says, and the ones who have not read it, act on the incitements of so-called clerics. That's why there's so much violence after they attend mosque, esp on Fridays.
