When I questioned the grammar and usage of words, I also requested that the questioning of such grammar and words would not be posted as to not offend anyone. I was unsure of the usage, since I had never seen it before. I checked the Merriam-Webster's Thesauraus, The Oxford American Thesaurus of Current English, and the Chambers Dictionary (10th Edition). The English language is my first language, although I do have a somewhat workable knowledge of two other languages. It's impossible to know everything, when it comes to language. I wasn't criticizing anyone; I was just unsure, because I never saw this word's usuage in such a fashion. Hey, even though I have lived abroad, while studying foreign language in college, I still don't know everything. Even a so-called "genius" does not know everything. That's why I was questioning; I wasn't trying to offend anyone. ...
As for being criticized, one has to be able to accept criticism; otherwise, we end up with global warming and economic meltdowns -- not to mention scores of miscreants. In any case, I know a "Svetlana" in Russia in the Moscow region. She sells beautiful Tchiorny Terriers. The Tchiorny Terriers are becoming a really big business between the North Americans, the Israelis, and the Russians. With your language background in both English and Russian, you would be an asset to those involved in this business.
