UnconvincedReader comment on item: [The RAND Corporation and] Fixing Islam Submitted by Roger Wilkinson (Australia), Apr 15, 2004 at 07:55 I am unconvinced about your discussion that there are different groups of Moslems; that is, I am unconvinced after much reading that the problem is other than I believe that the tenets of Islam are from the top down and bottom up untrue. Any person who claims to be a Moslem makes statements... I believe to be untrue, so that the problem is seen to be rather fundamental. While militant Islam, or as you so eloquently call them, 'Islamicists', may well be the presenting problem, that the solution is 'moderate' Islam is dubious...Note: Opinions expressed in comments are those of the authors alone and not necessarily those of Daniel Pipes.
