I agree mostly:Reader comment on item: The Roots of Iraq's Rebellion Submitted by William Oliver (United States), Apr 14, 2004 at 12:21 I have a strong tendency to agree with Dr Pipes.It is contrary to the Muslim faith to be "ruled" by anyone other than a Muslim. I did not and still do not agree with America being in Iraq, for all I can see, and history has proven so far, that it is a war without end, unless one intends to wipe out all Muslims which is absurd to even think of. America now has only two options, that is to escalate, hoping to win, or turn Iraq over to the Muslim factor and exit. If Osama had remained the target rather than Saddam, we would not have been in this quagmire. Either way we go at this point, America looks bad and is going to lose...
