in response to reader comment: Israel vs. Hamas Terrorists

Your comments are oh so right. However, the only one I differ with is the one pertaining to preconditions that should have been required before any peace treaty negotiations were discussed.

I sit in total astonished, dumbstruck amazment as I watch & listen to the talking heads on tv & the representatives of world powers & governments, as one after another after another they parrot the same rhetoric over & over with scarecly ever an objection. Spewed out of the mouths of (even some well meaning, so called peace loving muslims.) saying that "if only Israel would stop the bombing, if only they would allow humanitarian aid, if only they would allow the Palastinian to cross the border to work, see family, etc. If only this indiscriminate bombing would stop. It's ALL the Jew's fault. The people of Palastine are so desperate, especially those in Gaza. Conditions are so deplorable This is why the bombs into Israel by Hamas does & will continue. (seems like I recall there were some words to that effect prior to the withdrawal of Gaza & the West Bank being given control over to them. If only they had more land, more room,..hmmm..

And reckon why the conditions are so bad for the poor pitiful (all we really want is a peaceful normal life)Palastinians? Could it have anything to do with the fact that they voted & chose to give these truely saintly humanitarians, "Hamas" their voice, their leaders" ?? What a brilliant choice!! I still remember the dancing in the street!! The joyous sounds of M16 gunfire!!! What a Happy Day that was!!

So now that they have positioned themselves right in among the middle of their loyal ,adoring subjects & chosen to rain rocket & mortar attacks on a country they are close enough to spit on & who has one of the worlds most powerful air forces they are reaping just what they've sown. (But, boy do I digress!!! So sorry , I do get carried away, but don't you want to just scream at the folks in tv, actually I do but no-one hears, except my poor husband ;) So I'm spouting here)

But back to my origional point (if I can get there from here) I don't think that even if any of these radical muslims were to enter into ANY agreement , treaty contract or blood oath in which they made any concessions giving Israel any degree of security, that they could trust it for any longer than it took them to say it. After all it is an acceptable path of the jihad as a way of bringing down the enemy ( for lack of a better way of wording it - there is a specific term for it, I can't recall at the moment) But it means to gain trust of the enemy by lying to them. (Heaven Knows these folks would NEVER SIN- unless of course it was in the name of their religion...) And that is why I stare in total disbelief when I hear these world powers say Israel should stop this unprevoked, disproportinate attack on the innocent people of Gaza. And should try ONCE AGAIN to come to terms for peace with ..HAMAS.

Are they ,( PLEASE , someone tell me!!!) truly that blind? Please , if anyone knows, tell me is there anyone that can honestly say they that guliable. After all the heads of this radical group have stated plainly & without fear of contradiction to everone that will listen that "We will NEVER make peace with Israel. We will Never recognize Israel's right to exist (like that determination is EVEN theirs) or We will never cease to kill the Jew til not a single one is left alive and that land is 100% Muslim controled.

And this is not just the sentiment of one obscure splinter group of Islam. But rather the single unifying premise on which a ever growing segment of that religion is based. Entire countries are dedicated to this fountational belief. And I am inclined to believe there are many more Muslims that also hold to this belief as well, tho they will not admit openly to it. Possibly b/c of where they are (like maybe right here in America) So if there is Anyone, Anywhere that truly in their heart of hearts believe that there is any way that Israel will ever be safe from this damnable terrorism & from this insanity, short of winning an all out war

I would be eternally grateful if you would please enlighten me. as to how? Come to think of it, I know of several million, uh, billion other folks that would like to know as well. Meanwhile, All I know to do is pray for peace for Israel.
