I, as a Christian, do not believe in the same God as Muslims, or even Jews. My God is a triune God: 3 Persons in One: Father, Son, and Holy Spirit. As far as the Jewish G-d, He is one-third of my God; for He is God the Father. Having discussed this subject with a Muslim, he informed me that his God does not have a son, and that Jesus is not God's son. That is the difference: My God is Jesus, His Son; God, the Father; and The Person of the Holy Spirit, Who always points to Jesus.
You might look up John 1, "In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. He was with God in the beginning. Through Him all things were made; without Him nothing was made that has been made. In Him was life, and that life was the light of men. The light shines in the darkness, but the darkness has not understood it. (verses 1-5) Then, verse 14- The Word became flesh and made His dwelling among us. We have seen His glory, the glory of the One and Only, Who came from the Father, full of grace and truth." Then, verses16-18- "From the fullness of His grace we have all received one blessing after another. For the law was given through Moses; grace and truth came through Jesus Christ. No one has ever seen God, but God the One and Only, Who is at the Father's side, has made Him known. In John 16, (verses 7b-8)- Jesus is speaking about the Holy Spirit when He tells His disciples, "Unless I go away, the Counselor will not come to you; but if I go, I will send Him to you. When He comes, He will convict the world of guilt in regard to sin and righteousness and judgment...
