Where ARE the Moderates?Reader comment on item: The Moderation of American Muslims Submitted by Pat Kunz (United States), Apr 10, 2004 at 16:40 This week I saw an adult convert to Islam speaking about the uprisings in Iraq saying they may be called for in the Koran. He didn't condemn the murders of civilian workers in any way, shape or form. While rank and file Muslims might be moderate, I have not seen any Muslim leaders condemn acts of violence against non-Muslims. Instead they rail against all attempts to prevent acts of terrorism and decry it as "profiling". Seeing is believing.Note: Opinions expressed in comments are those of the authors alone and not necessarily those of Daniel Pipes. Original writing only, please.
