Islamic Foot In Mouth Disease
Reader comment on item: Permit Muslim-only Enclaves?
in response to reader comment: I am outraged

I live in Perth Western Australia, and have done for thirty years.

I'm probably more pleased than angry about Islamic Council's religious adviser, Abdul Jalil Ahmad's idea for a moslem enclave here in Perth.

He has done more to expose Islam's incompatability with 21st century democratic Australia than any newspaper editorial or 45 second expose on commercial television.

One of my best friends who used to call me a 'racist?' for my anti-Islam views has done a complete U-turn from his previous gushing belief in multiculturalism.

No Australian wants moslem migrants in their country. The politicians know it, the people know it and the resident moslems in Australia know it.

Australia has great advantages over the UK or Europe.

1) We have no historical affinity to Pakistan as opposed to the UK, and Pakistan is Islamic-Violence Central.

2) We are surrounded by water so illegals (overwhermingly moslem) come in small numbers, get stopped and detained (John Howard had the correct policy).

3) Our migrant intake, excluding family reunion and refugee status, need to be reasonably well-educated, have large funds for business migration, and have to meet employment needs of the economy. Very very few moslems can meet the criteria due to illiteracy and non-existent English language skills.

4) The conservative primitive Arab lands are a long way from Australia, as opposed to Morocco to Spain or the affinity between France and Algeria. Our closest moslem neighbour is Indonesia which had the luck of not being islamicized by the sword, but where Islam overlaid a decent civil culture. Indonesia does not have the inherent violence of the social, cultural, economic and political latrine which extends from the Moroccan Atlantic coast to the border of Pakistani/Indian Kashmir.
