Enjoyed your article and appreciate information it contained. But - with the problems the West is having in Iraq and elsewhere, what, in your opinion, is the outlook for eliminating the fundamentalist threat and replacing it with the more moderate groups?
Right now, this prospect appears to be impossible. How can the West ever hope to accomplish anything positive when the schools, mosques, clerics and especially the so-called "Islam civil rights" groups are so active and preach/teach such hatred? Until these fundamentalists who advocate violence are either eliminated or neutralized, we will continue to be at risk. I, for one, have no desire to live under Islamic rule!
