military infiltration

Reader comment on item: The Secret Pictures of Senior Airman Ahmad al Halabi

The infiltration of our military by fundamentalist Muslims is an ongoing problem. This may well be a result of compromises made to the politically-correct-multi-culturists of the officer corps, many educated in an academic environment where mere tolerence is not enough, but acceptance is required. The war on terror gets more pervasive as the depth and extent of the conflict emerges. The positive side is that the "System" does, on occasion, produce a Daniel Pipes, who like other patriots, has the ability to raise the alarm. The conflict with Islamism will need the intellectual prowess of Pipes and others because, the reality is, it can happen here.
