Reader comment on item: California [University Press] vs. Academic Freedom

Submitted by Sandy Richards (United States), Apr 1, 2004 at 02:44

Mr Pipes
I'm a big fan. I've read as many of your articles as I can get my hands on. I'm so grateful for all you do to bring the truth to us. As I was reading this article I became very depressed at how we have allowed these things to happen to our country. Our kids are being brainwashed as much as the kids in the Middle East. As those children place suicide bombs on their bodies because they have been indoctrinated to believe there will be 72 virgins waiting for them in heaven and it's the will of God, our children are leaving school, graduated or not, with a warped view of this great country and what it stands for......then I saw David Horowitz's name. What he is doing to turn our Universities around is amazing! It gives me hope. What are we going to do for our impressionable children in the public shcools? The travesty being done to these kids by the Left and their agenda to turn our children against this country drives me nuts. I have to listen to Sean Hannity and Rush so I don't stroke out...just to know there are others as angry as I am helps.

I also want to thank you for your stand against CAIR!!!!!!! I receive the news letter from ACAIR, so I'm not fooled. ..

I've never commented before...hope I made some sense....it's late...but I just wanted to let you know I'm out here and rooting for you and thanking you.

Continued success and thank you again for sharing these truths with us! Now maybe we will do what it takes to take back OUR Country!!!

Keep the Faith

Sandy Richards
