Quoting you, "Don't let it be said that [the U.S.] did everything, and the British sat back and did....nothing." I never stated the British did nothing; I stated the U.S. was most instrumental in the victory of WWII. The vast majority of Europe which Hitler invaded was not exactly a bastion of military might. Again, the U.S.A. was most instrumental in defeating the Third Riech. It was. Europe (including the British) benefitted.
