Why should Israel be held to a higher standard?

In this Middle East war why should Israel be held to a higher standard than the PA? Why does the world media like to beat up on Israel so much while they are so forgiving of Arab homicidal bombings? This is just insanity.

Imagine for a minute if Arabs were bombing malls and restaurants in the United States on a regular basis like they do in Israel. No red blooded American would care if our government blew up a leader of that group even if it caused the deaths of his family and others around him. Even our liberal news media would be hard pressed to criticize it.
