Something more scary than Obama

For me, something much more ominous than Obama is the fact that over 1/2 of America elected him President of the most powerfull nation on earth.

The U.S.A. has been living in a divorced-from-reality bubble for generations, and the only sense I can make of this latest gargantuan un-precidented leap into the abyss is that Americans are, not surprisingly, still desperately clinging to their ignorance.

It has seen them through "tough" times before, hasn't it?
