A Christian with a Christian agendaReader comment on item: Finding Moderate Muslims - More Questions Submitted by Amin Riaz (United Kingdom), Nov 6, 2008 at 11:35 One thing that Robert Spencer never goes into with the same gusto - is his own beliefs. So funnily enough I agree with Singha - surprise! No Muslim will go against Quran - the whole title of being a Muslim is the belief in Holy Quran as a word of God. That is being Muslim. He believes in Israel and its God given right to impose a Jewish will on that bit of land. No matter what. Even after 2 thousand years. And to maintain the "Jewish" nature of Israel rather than inclusion or Secular Israel. Spot the Hypocrisy? USA is constitutionally a non - Christian country. Majority are Christian but its not a Christian country. Muslims do not and will not and do not have to follow this - Just because non-muslims like Robert Spencer want it. Muslim majority can be institutionally Muslim and be democratic. And that is overwhelmingly the demand of most Muslims. What USA does - or the laws it follows - Who gives a fifth? Do what you feel like. Note: Opinions expressed in comments are those of the authors alone and not necessarily those of Daniel Pipes. Original writing only, please.
