Avoid Saudia Time Share Purchases
Reader comment on item: Timeshare Comes to Mecca

Submitted by Athar Rafiq (United States), Sep 22, 2008 at 14:49

I made the mistake of buying four weeks of time share in LeMeridien Time Share in 2006 because it was being marketed by Investors Provident from UK under the LeMeridien flag. After making all the payments by September 2006, I have never ever received title documents, rental income or any documentation from anyone. Investors Provident pulled out of the deal because the Saudi owner was uncooperative. I have not been able to find anyone who either speaks English or wants to cooperate with me. For Muslims, this is the ultimate insult since they are supposed to be extremely fair and honest people as taught by the prophet Muhammad (pbuh).
