Act like Putin did in Chechnya

Mr. Ahmad:

Yes, assasinate all extremists, I agree. But how do you find them? Essentially, one has to manage savagery, and do it in indiscriminate manner, without regard to women, children, old, infirm, innocent, extremists/non-extremists, etc.

Take the case of Chechnya. Have we heard of any problem there for the last 4 years or so? Why not. Putin ordered that Grozny should be flattened to the ground, and that is what exactly Russian army did. As far as I know, problem has been solved.

Sometimes one just has to be unsentimental, just plainly brutal. That is what Indian Army did in Panjab to Sikhs in 1980s-1990's-- Panjab has been quiet for quite a while now (The movement exists only in London, Toronto and Vancouver, but not in India).

Can Israel achieve this kind of quiet in Gaza? I think so but will have to bulldoze about one quarter of Gaza and kill about 100,000 of Palestinians in a few days (yes, in a few days); there will be worldwide condemnation but the problem will be solved once for all -- most of the Palestinians would leave Gaza for other Arab countries; the ones who stay will be very peaceful and Hamas will not be able to rule there and neither will Fatah rule there.

You don't send love and flowers to extrremists; and you don't worry about proportionality of terror either; you use effective force necessary to take care of the problem quickly and once for all.

Will Israel use that kind of force in Gaza? I must be deluding myself; Jews are just too darn civilized to use excessive and indiscriminate force.
