Reader comment on item: Will Washington Betray Anti-Regime Iranians?

first excuse my poor English Mr.Pipes, I saw your answer to a poster called Italian at his question - posted in 2006 - of what Iran's nuclear aims could be : because they will kill millions of Muslims also, and, secondly, any other nuclear country, France and UK included has more nuclear "fire-power" than IRI. You said "to bring Mahdi".

Your answer, although correct, is not convincing and is not complete. I. If creating world level chaos brings Mahdi in automatic manner - as per Yezbah Mazdi - then any nuclear conflict is fit to accomplish this aim. The Iranians don't want a military victory or a military victory; any string of nuclear explosions both in Iran and outside - in WE and US - is chaos; if West answers back with nukes - even if Iran fires only one nuke -, then there is chaos, and Mahdi comes and takes care of the rest of the events.

II If until this chaos is established they can succeed in achieving wordly justice, this is a bonus they do not reject; on the contrary. For instance, erasing Israel from the map will bring support from hundreds of millions in the Muslim world. And it would speed up considerably the achievment of reaching such a provocative situation that West will have to react militarily.

Of course those Muslims will be manipulated, because they want only Israel, not to die, nor Mahdi to come; but who will think about it when all of them will feel only gratitude towards Iran because they achieved such a victory - for which all the Muslim world is longing so much ? They will do whatever Ahma. will say to them. And if Muslims will die, no problem; they don't live in a just world; their death will bring this justice for the survivors: hundreds of millions on their turn. The impediment of W.having nuclear arms is covered at point I. So, there no impediment whatsoever for a nuclear disaster initiated in connection with IRI. . If one wants justice - and it appears Ah. wants it - then any way getting there is good.
