The sort of open-ended discussion that the West holds on virtually every topic, is exactly what Muslims do not wish to permit about their prophet. Accordingly, Westerners doing what comes naturally to them, saying just what they think about Muhammad, find themselves under a barrage of bitter criticism, and threats of violence from some Muslims. Fearful of Islamic violence, Random House, adding to the growing list of those who have done so, submit to that "nice, peaceful, peaceloving Islam," by cancelling Sherry Jones' book, "The Jewel of Medina," which she said she wrote being "deliberately and consciously respectful about Islam and Mohammed."

Those who are interested in doing so however, can turn to the Internet for factual information about Muhammad and his child-bride Aisha bint Abu Bakr, who he married when she was six years old, and with whom he sexually consummated the marriage when she was nine years old, and he was aged 52 years .

Why this matters so much now, is that Muhammad is regarded by Muslims as the model for all mankind, the exemplar, with the Qur'an saying this of him,

"Ye have indeed in the Apostle of Allah a beautiful pattern (of conduct) for any one whose hope is in Allah and the Final Day, and who engages much in the Praise of Allah.

Qur'an 33:21

Muhammad himself, speaking these words during his last sermon on 7^th.March 632 AD in Mecca:-

"I am leaving you with the Book of Allah (the QUR'AN), and my SUNNAH (the life style and the behavioural mode of the Prophet), if you follow them you will never go astray."

Muhammad's "lifestyle and behavioural mode," has led to the widespread sexual abuse of young children in many countries around the Muslim world. Many of them, because of their families financial situation, are coerced, either by their fathers or their family, to accept marriage with a man old enough to be their grandfather. Other girls probably don't even understand what they are getting into, when they are approached to marry a man.

Starting after the first menses, these children can be married off, and are valued greatly for their virginity, exploited by lustful old men, who purchase the girl with a dowry, and use them for sexual gratification and child-bearing. When divorced or widowed, they are left to live as second class people, in a culture based upon Muhammad's life. This is the Islam that Muslims in the West don't want us to know about, or do not know about themselves at all, now they are living in countries with better standards than their religion teaches, or in fact, living better lives than their prophet and ‘exemplar' lived..

Muhammad established an appalling precedent for Islam, Muslims, and young girls. This was not based upon wisdom, knowledge, or science, but only upon his culture, desires, actions, and teachings. He stands clearly revealed by Islam's most authoritative documents, as a man who established child abuse as a norm in Islam.
