Dear Prof Pipes, All sympathies to the British jail official. Those who criticise the innocent remarks as racist have never criticised Saudi Arabia or Iran or any other Islamic/Muslim governments as to how they treat their non-Muslim citizens.
One cannot forget that some years ago one Dr Siddiqui heading the non-territorial Parliament in Britain requested the then prime minister John Major to embrace Islam so that he could do justice to the Muslims. There is a proverb in Sanskrit that anything too much is bad. So this over-sensitisation regarding "racism" is also undesirable. Regards, Sincerely,S.C.Panda Prof Daniel Pipes,MEF,Philadelphia
