I am a graduate of FAU, and I am plainly disappointed by the second letter from the Office of Communication which describes Dr. Piples and Mr. Romirowsky's article as being "shrill criticism," and then insults Dr. Pipes and Mr. Romirowsky by insinuating that the two eminent scholars lack an understanding of the fundamentals of democracy.
Furthermore, where is a response from the university president. Mr. Brogan should be handling such an important issue personally, not delegating it to one of his mouthpiece subordinates. Is this another case of a muslim terrorism supporter hiding behind beneath the mantle of political correctness ?
