Reader comment on item: When Osama bin Laden becomes PC

Submitted by Darwin Barrett (United States), Jan 26, 2004 at 18:45

A free Society is the epitome of human achievement. Unfortunately it contains the seeds of it's own destruction. Freedom of expression leaves the door open for a plethora of attacks from those who want to control their fellow man. The liberal left wing, in it's fear of offending anyone, has turned our value system up-side down. Everything the government does is wrong, successful people are unjustly rewarded, and the Criminal is the Victim.

Mankind is predestined to self-destruct. The outcome of the battle between the Ego (Evil) and the single creative force is easy to predict. The individual Man has the ability to choose the higher path, but more often than not defaults to the Ego. The Ego leads to conflict, and an examination of the world's events indicates the Ego is all pervasive.

The Bible is an attempt by earlier civilizations to document man's dual nature. Each human has an opportunity to choose between the left brain Individual Ego and the right brain Id. The right brain is the creative force in the individual and is our connection to all humanity. The left brain ego is the force that separates one from another. It is this separateness that leads to conflict.
